CUPHEA HYSSOPIFOLIA - "MEXICAN HEATHER"
About the Plant:
Mexican Heather originates from Guatamala, Mexico and the Honduras.
Cuphea Hyssopifolia, as it is also known, is part of the Lytraceae family and grows into a compact plant with small, fine leaves and purple to white flowers.
It can grow to about 60 cm in height and nearly a meter wide.
It needs to be watered relatively often so it is kept moist. It does not like to dry out.
Cuphea Hyssopifolia can be fertilized lightly and should be placed in light areas or in direct sunlight, as long as the temperature does not exceed living room temperature.
